PA / Accounts assistant - Gym owner
Looking for an energetic self motivated individual to assist the owner with a new start up gym/cafe in Somerset due to open in early December. The owner of the gym has been focused solely on the fitness side of things and needs someone who can come in and help him get the gym up and running. This person needs to be able to take charge of getting all necessary legalities in place before the gym opens and create spreadsheets and procedures for banking, staff, insurance etc
Duties will include:
Supporting owner with all admin tasks
Diary Management
Creating processes to ensure all banking and accounting is kept up to date
Creating and sending invoices
Helping with recruitment and sending out new starters pack
Keeping membership database up to date
Ensuring direct debits are set up and checked
Managing bank accounts
Managing payroll using an accounting packing for example zero
Assisting with on line and social media
Helping with the upkeep of the premises e.g ordering supplies (water, items for cafe,first aid kits etc)
Helping the owner with all start up procedures e.g insurance of building, ensuring GDPR principles are in place etc
Requirements:
Able to travel to Somerset once a week
Excellent administration and organisational skills
Have experience as a PA and basic accounts knowledge
Having an interest in the fitness industry is a bonus but not essential
